Today was to be a very relaxing
day. First we went back to our favorite restaurant from the night before for breakfast. I got French toast with fruit, syrup, and powdered sugar, and it was
so good. The day was intermittently overcast and rainy, then sunny, perfect
for what we had in mind: checking out the famous Budapest baths. On our way to find them we walked through a few parks, seeing a few cool things.

| Some of the architecture reminded me of Vienna |
 |
| Yep, we found a statue of George Washington in the middle of a park in Budapest |
We also found a cool sidewalk souvenir sale place that had a lot of food, scarves, jewelry, etc. I even found some real freshwater pearls that I bought, just like in China.
It took awhile for us to find the baths as we
walked, but once we did, we knew it was worth it. The one we went to cost about
twenty US dollars, and was a collection of indoor saunas and hot tubs, and huge
outdoor pools.

My favorite one had a cool lazy river in it, which was not just
meant for the kids. After we played around with that for awhile, we laid out in
the sun, pretty much asleep. Then we sat in a different, hotter pool on the
other side of the enclosed, outdoor courtyard. In this pool, one couple was
being shockingly disgusting, while some old speedo-clad men played chess… in
the pool, which was pretty awesome.

After we were all sufficiently waterlogged
and relaxed, we headed back toward our apartment and saw neat buildings and
unique shopping along the way. Amy told us of a nice restaurant she’d heard
about, so we said yes to that and ate some really good food for dinner, though the waitress did NOT appreciate having to move a few tables together for us...
Going home
meant packing again, doing laundry,
getting ready to head out the next day for Prague, and sleeping.
